Fighting for clean water

Residents of the La Isla neighborhood on Culebra Road say they’ve gotten sick from their water, which comes from an unlicensed well that the state recently found is contaminated. After two and a half years of fighting to be hooked to the city’s water system, something is finally happening.

The Prim Reapers had to forfeit the August roller derby bout to the Dragon Divas because too many Prims were injured. But the teams still played an exhibition bout with the help of four Missyfits players.
