Memorial to Peralta girls

Natalie Peralta, 13 and Nazaryn Peralta, 6, were buried Dec. 17. They died last week after their father Salvador Peralta shot them.
Because the family said they would allow only one pool video camera, our still shooters took pictures and I gathered audio.

Because of the numerous toy recalls this year, parents need to be careful what they buy their children for Christmas even though some retailers have created toy safety programs. Some alternatives are available such as buying toys from specialty shops that only sell European-made items.
