I am a freelance multimedia journalist who reports and writes articles, shoots photos, and produces online video. My extensive journalism experience over the past seven years has taught me to meet tight deadlines by working quickly and accurately. I have worked for hyperlocal news web sites, major Texas newspapers and two wire services distributed worldwide. I earned degrees in multimedia journalism and government from the University of Texas at Austin, and I currently live in Austin with my fiance Aaron Morris and our two dogs, Binx and Zoe.

I am also the publisher of News Videographer, a web site that provides useful services for journalists who produce online news video. In addition, I have provided video training at journalism conferences and workshops.
