Venture Crew 100 is a brand new group for 14- to 21-year-old boys and girls who enjoy high adventure activities like canoeing, hiking and camping. On Sept. 8, the nine-member Crew canoed down the Nueces River with a group of Boy Scouts.

Army Cpl. Anthony Bradshaw was laid to rest May 16 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. The 21-year-old was killed May 6 in Iraq when a roadside bomb exploded.
